IIT Madras Found At The Top of 2020 National Rankings

Although schools and colleges in India has been closed, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister gave some great news for 10th graders where the state cancelled their exams due to this health crisis. Just a few hours ago, national rankings of colleges all over India has been released where some of them have also been spotted on the global rankings list. Coronavirus: What Happened to Final Exams in India? (Part 1)

The University Grants Committee has recommended that the coming academic year may start in September instead of July. The coronavirus has spread and dominated over 209 countries, including India where many large cities have reached the red zone due to many new cases appearing all over the country. The Janet curfew has been issued across India till May 3rd to control the coronavirus. As a precaution, all educational institutions in India have been closed since March 16th. Also, the general exams at schools and colleges have been postponed.

Coronavirus: What has happened to the Medical Waste from Hospitals?

Residents of the Karur Government Hospital are protesting to bury the clothes used by doctors at the Karur government hospital. About 110 people that were affected by the coronavirus were admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Karur Sanarpatti. Out of these people, it has been reported that 23 of these people in the Government Hospital were from the Karur district. Other infected people from that hospital have come from the Namakkal and Dindigul districts for treatment.
