Along with this minister, Municipal Commissioner Prakash and Chennai District Collector Seethalakshmi inspected the control center at the Ribbon House in Chennai yesterday due to the spread of coronavirus virus.

In the corporation of Chennai, control rooms have been opened 24 hours a day to hear their suspicions about the coronavirus. In order to reach these control centers, the corporation has created a special telephone number, 044-25384520, which has received 2 thousand calls regarding medical purposes.
In order to identify and isolate the victims of the coronavirus, the corporation has released another telephone number, 044-25384530, where they would be able to seek medical help by making sure that they don’t spread it further. Furthermore, this phone number also helps volunteers deliver their medical items to the public which not only keeps the general public in quarantine, but also makes sure to contain the virus to the limited people that are already affected. In Chennai alone, about 24,000 people have been treated in isolated homes where a notice has been released that no one should go inside those homes.
